The only oil you need is for the chain(bar and chain oil), to ensure it stays lubricated during cutting. It usually is sold in quart and gallon sizes at your local home improvement store. Good luck!
You should use” bar and chain oil”…it is heavy for lubricating the chain and accepting the heat..to keep chain from binding.plus do not use a tired chain…keep it sharp….
