Electric Chain Saw Review

I was very excited by the Poulan chain saw 18inch Electric —- worked great for about 3 minutes! He then dropped one! I finally managed to contact the main dealer in my area who informed me that, for some unknown reason, the driver of a short circuit. What? I was then instructed to cut the umbilical cord and send the serial number and model out the window. I had to get a new one. It ‘been 2 weeks ago and I have not heard anything. At the same time, my friend bought the Makita 16 “electric and loves him, I would have done the same.

This movie works very well until it works.
I have a problem with this view, but I think it’s just for this, not the model in general.
Because of the issue, I contacted Poulan who immediately sent me a UPS label for me to return the saw for themselves, so they can repair or replace it.
In fact, I advised a friend to buy the visa.
He did and he is very happy.

Electric Chain Saw Review

I was very dubious of an electric motor … but now I am a believer. This visa has been impressive. I cut a cord of black oak .. not a team gone bad .. the chain is still alive. I do not know why but my gas chain saw sharpening hours.

side by Husquvarna said … and an electric husky goes over 200, so this is a deal … poulon but the price Amazon is like watching abouncing ball that is between 85 and 99 … I Got Mine for 85 .. . and if you ever get there again I’ll buy a backup … it’s so good.

I shot a bull 100 ‘pine and it was like butter. I shot three black oaks with a diameter of about 30 centimeters each … not a problem. I also took my little generation Honda 200Watt on the tractor and used to power the saw just to see how it goes … power was granted too little saw’m the event and about 3 / 4 ’s of capacity, but I resisted a few oaks and pines, with little problem. 3000 watt gen one would be better.

I’m really hard on my reviews and give a 5 star like me to give gold medals to the deserving people … a rare event.

Electric Chain Saw Review

Purchased based on the recommendation of Consumer Reports. Good chain saw is well made easy to use and powerful. Also liked how the chain rule and the ease of cleaning after use. He had been struggling with a hard-to-start gas chain saw – if you do not mind dragging cords around me to recommend an electric chainsaw for occasional use in your garden.

It is a chain saw greater use of electricity in general. I sawed off a tree on the ash firewood from 5 inches to 24 inches in diameter. E ‘was strong and cut like butter. Limited use otherwise. Seems to be the best out there for the home.

Electric Chain Saw Review

I have used several light duty gas chain saws for pruning and cutting down small to medium sized trees around the house. My old homelite was worn out and decided to try an electric since they seem to have grown into a usable size.

This saw has performed flawlessly for three multi hour pruning sessions on limbs up to 5 inches in diameter. I have not tried it on anything really large but it is light enough to tote up a 32 foot extension ladder and powerful enough to make quick work of the limbs I wanted to remove.

I have a couple 8 to 10 inch trees to remove yet and am sure this saw will do the job. I really like the lack of fuel mess and ease of clean up. Hopefully no painful startup after a couple years in storage. Just keep the chain sharp and go.

Electric Chain Saw Review-GoodLuck

Great 4HP chainsaw for $90

While you can use to reach an extension cable, this is a great tool. grease the chain is very good – the chain is always nice and moist, without the spray, which is exactly how I like it. And of course, with electric, there is no mixing of gas and startup problems, and the saw is much quieter and lighter than a comparable two-stroke 2. But keep in mind, this is not a toy – Saws rebound slightly easier, but on the otherhand are easier to control both.

Regarding the extension, I was afraid 4HP (4HP = 2984W = 27A @ 110V) attracts a lot of current. But I had no problem with my regular old orange 14GA 100 ‘extension cords outdoors. Seems to work very well, and do not get hot even after extended duty cycle. Seen only get full power of the engine under extreme load – as if the string is binding or deaf or something ….

Electric Chain Saw Review

1. Shipment was fast, and arrived in excellent condition.
2. Saw was easy to ready for use (Poulan oil at hardware store $1.69)
3. Cut medium limbs and small logs with no effort.
4. Easy clean up of unit, but must drain oil for storage or will leak.
5. On the negative side, supplied with a CHEAP soft plastic blade protector ( my pocket pen protector is a heavier grade of plastic!)

Electric Chain Saw Review-GoodLuck

The product arrived in perfect working order and ready to use. Very powerful and fast sawing ability for both branches and logs. A friend who has a gas chainsaw said he much preferred using my Poulan electric saw. It is well balanced and easy to use. I do not have a problem with long runs of electrical cord. The longest I have used is 50 feet, using an extension cord of #14 wire gauge. The only drawback to this product is that is does not come with a carrying/storage case. The flimsy plastic chain guard doesn’t last long. Also, I don’t know about the ease of obtaining a new chain when that time comes. The product seems to be perfect for my use, which is occasional trimming and cutting of branches and small trees. I don’t know how it would stand up to heavy duty use, but it’s a good price/performance value.

Electric Chain Saw Review-GoodLuck

This chainsaw arrives much faster than expected, free by air. The 18″ size was just what I needed for cutting slabs of redwood. I would highly recommend this product. The only weakness is that extra chains are not offered by the same supplier, a back-up chain is always desirable to have.

Poulan Pro Chainsaw-GREAT for the infrequent user, plenty of juice

Electric Chain Saw Review-GoodLuck

I bought this chainsaw to fell a series of giant junipers in my backyard. It was a disaster tangled, + branches 30 feet long, all wrong and twisted, among others. I say this because the ability to cut with ease, then stop trying to cut what I cut was one of the main reasons I bought an electric motor. can be cut for a few minutes and just lay down, no BS Reboot with a gas. The Poulan was the juice I needed the cut stem 10-15 inches no problem. Also, I usually use my chain saw more than once or twice a year, thus maintaining a gas does not make sense to me … it will be ready to leave at any time when the oil is full. the grease has worked a lot, whenever I checked the chain tension, the bar was well oiled. system voltage chain worked well, as with any chainsaw, loosen the string, but it was easy to adjust and maintain. If you own a house, it would be a good option.
